Veneto, vooral bekend wegens "de drijvende stad" Venetié en het Lago di Garda, het Gardameer.
Het afwisselende landschap van de Veneto strekt zich uit van de Alpen tot aan de Adriatische Zee en omvat zowat alles wat een landschap kan bevatten; meren, rivieren, bergen, heuvels, dalen, laag en hoogvlaktes en kustgebied.
